De Anza's Mission: Student Success
Building on its tradition of excellence, De Anza challenges students of every background to develop their intellect, character, and abilities; to achieve their educational goals; and to serve their community in a diverse and changing world.

The college is on a quarter system: Fall (September), Winter (January) and Spring (April). Students can be admitted to each of the three quarters. Summer classes are also available to continuing students. A wide range of programs and courses are offered during the day, evening and weekends. The courses are equivalent to the first two years of four-year degree programs. The International Student Programs office is created specifically to provide programs and services to ensure a successful educational and personal experience among our international students and to promote cross-cultural understanding. It has a knowledgeable and multi-lingual staff that is committed to helping international students adjust to a different educational and cultural environment.
