Traffic Flow Improvements Made to Flint Parking Structure Area
Improvements for traffic flow around the Flint Parking Structure, including several one-way entrance and exit route changes, were completed during the holiday break just in time for winter quarter. See the directional map for details of the newly completed routes.
The remodeled northwest entrance to campus from Stevens Creek Boulevard now travels to the east for more convenient entry into the Flint Parking Structure.
This entrance directs drivers into the Flint Parking Structure or toward the southwest portion of campus. There is a turnaround near the end of the Flint Parking Structure for those who want to go back toward the east end of campus or east on Stevens Creek.
Campus Drive on the west side of the Flint Parking Structure is now a permanent one-way road. By choosing this route, you must either turn left onto Stevens Creek or go straight onto Hwy. 85. You cannot turn right (east) onto Stevens Creek from this route.
Also, access in and out of the Flint parking structure has changed. The former entrance on the west side of the structure is now a one-way exit-only route that will take you off campus. There are two right-turn-only exits on the east side of the structure. The turnaround may be used to go back toward Stevens Creek going east.
Extra security will be on hand during the first week of classes to direct traffic in this area.
