Courses are offered in each Special Education program and are open to all students with verified disabilities. Some are open to other students who can benefit from the instruction on a space available basis. Check the current schedule for a complete list of classes and times. Technology Access Evaluation for Special Needs Students
One hour lecture-laboratory. (May be taken twice for credit.) Pass-No Pass (P-NP) course. Computer and technology access evaluation for students with physical disabilities, sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities. Appropriate access requirements will be individually determined in order to enable students to utilize computer technology.

Technology Access Practice for Special Needs Students
Prerequisites: Special Education 140, 145G, or 145P; concurrent enrollment in a Special Education course. Three hours laboratory for each unit of credit. (Any combination of Special Education 190X and 190Y may be taken six times for credit.) Individualized development of skills in the analysis and use of assistive technology in an adapted microcomputer laboratory.

Prerequisites: Special Education 140; concurrent enrollment in a Special Education course; or consent of instructor. Three hours laboratory for each unit or credit. (Any combination of Special Education 190X and 190Y may be taken up to six times for credit.) Individualized development of skills in the analysis and use of assistive technology in an adapted microcomputer laboratory.
1 Unit (18-36 hours for credit)
