The faculty and staff of the Special Education Division at De Anza College welcome you! You have made a wonderful choice in coming to the community college to pursue your personal goals. We know you will find De Anza an enriching environment, with tremendous opportunities for growth and enjoyment. There are many caring people among the staff and students. You may well find a “niche” here because De Anza is a nurturing and stimulating place. Our hope in Special Education is that we can help you with the goals you set, so that when you leave De Anza you have the skills you need for new adventures and accomplishments.
For over a quarter century, the Division’s programs have been doing just that for hundreds of students with disabilities before you. Our programs are an integral part of the remarkable array of support services and instructional offerings you can find here.
